Jubilant and Excited day

A beautiful day with a bit of an Autumn breeze twist. A glorious day to be outside enjoying the fresh air, warm rays and crisp, cool breeze.
I woke up feeling fine, dandy and ready to take on the world! I checked the cellphone messages, emails, voicemails and updated social sites...Then, I had to run out to do errands. And, I managed to get a little Holiday shopping done! :-)

I read an interesting article, and found it very enlightening and informative. You know how people are always asking " Act your Age" Well, What does that mean exactly?  check out this link to view the article, and here is a little snippet here: " What's age got to do with it? I have found that many people are not living life to the fullest because they let the general perception about age limit them. We have all heard the statement, "Act your age!" My question is, what does that mean? Oh, I know we all say it to children who are acting like babies, but far too often people will continue to hear it in their heads as they grow into adulthood. They think old and act old because in their heads they continue to hear the old recording, “Act your age! Act your age!”  Well, how do you act your age? Do you act like everyone else?  I say no!"

Anyway, I thought it was a very interesting article, and the next time someone informs me to "Act my Age" I won't because Age is only Mind over Matter. If I don't mind then it doesn't matter! Life is what you make it...

The Doctor who killed singer, Micheal Jackson, case is still going on and is in the hands of the jury. An article in the USA Today says of the case: "For Michael Jackson's children this case goes on forever because they do not have a father," Walgren said. "They do not have a father because of the actions of Conrad Murray."

And, 10 great sculpture gardens across the USA, according to an article in USA Today.
" You don't have to stay inside to view art. Sculpture parks and gardens combine natural and man-made elements, making fall a perfect time to visit. "In these settings, art enhances nature," says Rebecca Reynolds , a sculpture expert and curator of the Margaret Cassidy and John Paul Manship Collection in Boston."

And, It looks as though that Grand Prix that was held in Maryland-it was thought to increase revenue for the City of Baltimore-but has instead created Huge Bills and Loans that are not being paid. According to an article in the Baltimore Sun,Despite selling 110,000 tickets and drawing throngs to the Inner Harbor for the race, Baltimore Racing Development officials have said they never expected to turn a profit the first year. Now the financial issues have led some to question the company's ability to host the auto race next year."
In Utah, It looks as though people will be paying more to park.  According to an article on the ABC4 web site" People are used to parking for free after 6 PM, but the council is considering making you pay until 10 PM. The city plans to pull out all the parking meters to replace them with pay stations. "
According to an article on ABC4 web site, An Autistic Man wants to work but the NBA Lockout didn't let that happen! And, Now the 37 yr old is sitting at home instead of working. "It's crucial," said CTA Director of Supportive Employment Jim Harrison, who helped arrange for Kevin to work at EnergySolutions Arena. "Just like everybody else, having a job provides income, it provides a sense of self-esteem and self-worth. Work is actually therapeutic."

And, according to Pastor Tom Keller, A popular belief about Marriage is all wrong. In an article published in the Christian Post:Keller and his wife, who have been married 37 years, stressed the importance of establishing and maintaining a friendship throughout all phases of a relationship, including when dating as singles."
In another Christian Post article, " Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) joined 86 members of the House of Representatives in signing a letter urging the Senate to pass an amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act prohibiting same-sex marriages in military facilities."
And The Wisconsin Senate has approved a bill favoring Abstinence, Marriage. " The bill, which passed along party lines 17-15, would amend a state bill passed last year. A Democratic majority had approved legislation requiring schools to mandate a comprehensive human growth and development (sex education) curriculum that discusses contraceptives as an equally effective option at preventing pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases to abstinence for all sexual activity." according to an article in Christian Post.

Well, I have to go now and take care of more errands. It looks as though the daylight hours are quickly fading into Night time. But remember, No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted as told in Aesop Fable " The Lion and The Mouse"

" A LION was awakened from sleep by a Mouse running over his
face. Rising up angrily, he caught him and was about to kill
him, when the Mouse piteously entreated, saying: "If you
would only spare my life, I would be sure to repay your
kindness." The Lion laughed and let him go. It happened
shortly after this that the Lion was caught by some hunters,
who bound him by strong ropes to the ground. The Mouse,
recognizing his roar, came and gnawed the rope with his teeth
and set him free, exclaiming:

"You ridiculed the idea of my ever being able to help you,
expecting to receive from me any repayment of your favor; now
you know that it is possible for even a Mouse to con benefits
on a Lion."
So, Remember, Be Kind to everyone who meet..no matter what their status in life, either rich or poor.
